In a sea of carbon copy metal bands, Pressureknot has cultivated their signature sound and charged live shows by creating forward thinking music that is influenced by old school rock and metal with a flair of accessibility. As long time friends and collaborators, Pressureknot began their journey in 2014. Rob (guitar) and Mike (vocals) have been in previous bands together throughout the years. Benjamin (drums) and Tony (bass) are founding members and bring a heavy low end groove to the table. Pressureknot released their first (self titled) album as a 3 piece in 2019. The album garnered the attention of British media with a review in “Power Play Rock and Metal Magazine”. Their second release in 2022 “Evolution of Pain” has become a standard on local rock radio and provided them an opportunity to play with metal legends Super Joint, Deceased, Green Jello, Heathen, Coronor and others. Pressureknot’s current album is slated for release in early 2026. You can expect a fresh batch of classic Pressureknot on this album and will find their shows to be equally impressive.
